  Black History Month Presentation by Associate Professor Beverly Bunch-Lyons  
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)

In conjunction with Black History Month, Beverly Bunch-Lyons, Virginia Tech associate professor of history in the National Capital Region, will present "BE Comfortable being Uncomfortable: Conversations about Race and Diversity at the University."

Bunch-Lyons will talk about the language of race and diversity and how words matter. She will also discuss strategies to reduce prejudice and encourage an open dialogue.
