View and listen to work from the composers, music researchers, & sound engineers of DISIS:

Ivica Ico Bukvic is an associate professor at Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts, where he serves as director of DISIS (Digital Interactive Sound and Intermedia Studio) and the Linux Laptop Orchestra (L2Ork).

Eric Lyon is a composer and computer music researcher. He teaches in the School of Performing Arts at Virginia Tech, and is a faculty fellow at the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology.

Charles Nichols teaches music composition and creative technologies in the School of Performing Arts, and is a faculty fellow of the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology.

Tanner Upthegrove designs and facilitates audiovisual technologies as Media Engineer for Virginia Tech's Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology. Tanner specializes in spatial audio, both designing audio systems and creating original sonic works.
