  Meet the Makers: Charles Dye
(Movie/Film)

Charles Dye is an Assistant Professor in Cinema Production in the School of Performing Arts at Virginia Tech.

Dye will screen the very short fiction films, C17, The Necktie, Half and Beg to Differ, along with recent work made in collaboration with Virginia Tech Cinema students. He will also share clips from his past nonfiction work, discussing the very different processes involved in the production of fiction and nonfiction film.

Meet the Makers is an initiative of the University Libraries to bring art into the libraries and showcase artists and creators from across campus. This unique setup allows artists and creators to talk about and present their work, and gives visitors a chance to ask questions and get to know artists in their community.
