National Library of Medicine Discussion with Jeffrey Reznick

Dr. Jeffrey Reznick, Chief of the History of Medicine Division at the National Library of Medicine, will take part in an open discussion of topics related to his work at the National Library of Medicine, including digital humanities, big data, medical history, partnerships between librarians and faculty, research collections at NLM, open access, and PubMed. During his visit to campus, he will also be a featured speaker at the History Graduate Student Association conference. He has partnered with VT on two NEH summer seminars, undergraduate research, and other projects at the intersection of medical history and digital humanities. Faculty and advanced graduate students are welcome to attend this discussion.
