  2-Day Symposium: Technology, Science, and the Search for Meaning

Talk by prof. Peter Saulson, Martin A Pomerantz '37 Professor of Physics at Syracuse University.

Prof. Saulson is one of the leaders of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO), which in February 2016 announced the discovery of gravitational waves, one of Albert Einstein's last experimental predictions. Prof. Saulson will here speak on the thought of Abraham Joshua Heschel and bring them into dialogue with modern scientific discoveries.

A reception will be held prior the the lecture.
