The Center for Instructional Development and Educational Research (CIDER), the Department of Academic Advising, and the Office of First Year Experiences invite you to attend the First Annual Recognition of Teaching Excellence Reception to honor and celebrate teaching and advising award recipients for their outstanding efforts that have positively impacted student success at Virginia Tech.

The keynote speaker for this event is Susanna Rinehart, Faculty Chair and Associate Professor of performance, theatre history, and literature at Virginia Tech. She will discuss the importance of teaching and advising at the university.

Refreshments will be provided.
