Natalie Diaz Poetry Reading and Presentation of Emily Morrison Prizes in Poetry and Fiction

Poet Natalie Diaz, a former professional basketball player, and author of When My Brother Was an Aztec will be reading as part of the Speakeasy Reading Series, sponsored by the MFA program in Creative Writing and the Department of English. She is Mojave, an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian tribe, and she teaches at Arizona State University. The 2018 Emily Morrison Prizes in Poetry and Fiction will also be presented to students in the MFA Program in Creative Writing. Free and open to the public. More information...
