Weekend Service Trip: focus on education access

[SIGN UP BY OCT.20] On average in the United States, 3 out of 10 high school students will not graduate. In today's workforce, nearly 85% of current jobs or 90% of new jobs will require some college or post-secondary education training. Participants will gain an understanding of some of the barriers to education while serving alongside community organizations focused on access to quality education and after school programming.
On a VT Engage weekend immersion trip, you'll serve a cause that matters to you, dive more deeply into social justice issues through reflection, and meet other students passionate about questioning and serving.
The cost of the trip is $30, which covers transportation, food, and housing. Need-based scholarships are available. All applicants will be considered.
