Skyscraper Farm: Innovation at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water Systems - Mobilizing Virginia Tech to Feed the World

Nick Starling, chairman of Skyscraper Farm LLC (http://www.skyscraper.farm/home.html), has researched vertical farming since 2011.
Starling has discovered a variety of improvements needed if the vertical farm industry is to reach its potential: feeding the world while dramatically reducing water usage (from 70 percent of the world's water to less than 10 percent) and eliminating agricultural runoff.
