11:30am 		  Brown Bag Seminar on Aging in Place in the New River Valley  
(Academic)

An interdisciplinary research team addressing Aging Friendly Community Policies has been selected by the VT Institute for Society, Culture and the Environment for a Policy Strategic Growth Area planning grant and will host two brown bag seminars in Spring 2018. In the first brown bag seminar, the team will discuss the conditions and capacities necessary for Aging in Place in the New River Valley area. Speakers at the seminar include Dr. Pamela Ray from the NRV Health Department and Ms. Tina King from the NRV Agency on Aging.

This seminar is a collaborative effort between the Department of Apparel, Housing and Resource Management, Center for Gerontology, Department of Agriculture and Applied Economics, and the Institute for Policy and Governance. Everyone is welcome. Lunch will be provided. Please join us.
