The Rape of Recy Taylor Documentary & Discussion
(Movie/Film)

In 1944, when she was 24, Recy Taylor was walking home from church when she was kidnapped, blindfolded and raped a gun-point by six white men. The absence of black women from the #MeToo movement has historical roots that predate Taylor's rape. Her story is about thousands of women just like her whose stories we may never know. Join us in watching this important documentary as a part of Women's Month.
