The Physical Template of Landscapes and the Biophysical Dimensions of Water
(Research)
iego Riveros-Iregui, assistant professor in the Department of Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will present a summary of an ecohydrological approach to understanding the spatial variability of soil carbon processes, including the stable carbon isotopic composition of forests, using a suite of observations conducted at the landscape scale and across different times of the year.
This seminar draws attention to human-environment interactions in unique landscapes where both anthropogenic-induced change and freshwater runoff per unit area are among the highest on the planet. More information...
