  Public Writing in the Humanities

WORKSHOP 12:30pm - Please join the Dept. of Religion & Culture for an informal conversation with Dr. Kelly J. Baker about public writing in the Humanities. The workshop for advanced undergraduates, graduates, students, and faculty will focus on the act of translation - how to write for different types of audiences including the mechanics of "pitching" articles. Dr. Baker is the editor of the publication "Women in Higher Education," as well as, the author of 4 books, most recently "Sexism Ed: Essays on Gender and Labor in Academia" (just released April 2018). FREE COFFEE AND PASTRIES will be served.
