This meeting will explain the responsibilities of serving as a staff senator. Ellen Plummer, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and Robert Sebek, President of Staff Senate, will present on what is shared governance and how Staff Senate fits into the larger university governance system. We will also hear from our four standing committees and two ad hoc committees on what they are doing. Each senator will be asked to join a standing committee.
