Books, Bugs, and Garden Slugs! Registration Deadline

Deadline to register for Books, Bugs and Garden Slugs - August 31st! Meetings don't start until September 5th.
Hahn Horticulture Garden and the Montgomery County 4-H are offering a super fun club focusing on garden or nature-related books and hands-on activities for youth in grades K-2! Each week we will read a book, and play games and do hands-on activities related to that book. Classes will be led by the Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Hahn Horticulture Garden, the Montgomery County 4-H Extension Agent, and trained volunteers. The Hahn Horticulture Garden will provide space for club meetings and activities.
Ages: Open to all county youth (4-H and non 4-H members) in grades K-2.
Dates: Club Meetings are on the following dates: September 5, 19, October 3, 17, and November 7, 28.
Times: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Hahn Horticulture Garden and Pavilion, VT Campus
Cost: $25 per child - This fee covers a small snack and all supplies. Make Checks payable to "Treasure, Virginia Tech". If financial assistance is needed, we can work with you on payment options. Return the form with your payment to Montgomery County Extension, 755 Roanoke St. Suite 1G, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Upon receipt of your registration, we will e-mail you directions and other information, so please be sure to print your home e-mail address legibly and clearly. If you do not have internet or e-mail access, please call our office at 382-5790. We will mail you a health history form and other information about the program. Registration deadline is Friday, August 31. Maximum of 16 children, minimum of 8.
