A graduate of Virginia Tech, (BLA 1979) and the University of Maryland, (MFA 1995), Ed Bisese is a storyteller. He creates characters that inhabit seemingly familiar places. In his practice he has developed a language and a vocabulary that he uses to depict his extravagant visions, resulting in drawings, paintings and collages. In addition to being a registered landscape architect since 1984, Bisese teaches at numerous universities and colleges in the Washington, DC metro area.

Ed's work will be on display at the Armory Gallery through September 14, 2018. Opening reception on September 7, 6-8 pm. Gallery talk 7pm.
