Student Event Series: All about Air Plants
(Special Event)
Join us for our "Students Only" Event Series. The second event of the series is 'All About Air Plants'. This even is open only to VT students.
Meet at the Greenhouse classroom (GH100) beside McComas Hall. The fee is $3 per student, you will get to take a plant home! Must pre-register by 5PM October 8th; limited to 20 students. Contact Stephanie at vtgarden@vt.edu to register.
Stephanie Huckestein, with the Hahn Garden and Instructor of Indoor Plants, will teach you about air plants (Tillandsia sp.)! These easy epiphytic plants don't even require soil, so they are mess-free and easy to grow, just add water! Super cool plants for your dorm room!
