Steve Hunter is a Quantitative Analyst / Data Scientist specializing in financial regulation at the Swiss investment bank UBS. Steve graduated from Virginia Tech in 1995 with a BA in Communication Studies (minor in Russian). After graduation, he worked in Moscow as a coordinator for the Peacework Development Fund, skied 102 days in a single season while working for the Steamboat ski area in Colorado, and held a variety of staff, management and technical roles at Santa Fe Natural Tobacco (American Spirit brand) in Santa Fe, NM before moving to New York City. For the past 17 years he has worked with UBS in several roles and locations (Stamford CT, New York City, London, Zurich, and Singapore). He currently lives in southern New England with his wife, three kids, a cat, a dog, and a small contingent of chickens. More information...
