Veterinary college's annual Open House
(Special Event)
For a behind-the-scenes look at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, join the college for its annual Open House, featuring a variety of exhibits, demonstrations, seminars, and public tours of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
The purpose of the Open House is to showcase the college, furnish information about the veterinary profession and careers in veterinary medicine, celebrate the role of animals in people's lives, and provide fun and entertainment for the community.
Held with support from the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) and other student organizations, the Open House is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of dog food or toys to benefit local shelter dogs.
If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please contact Rebecca Stinson-Dixon, associate director of student support and admissions, at 540-231-1184 or rstinson@vt.edu during regular business hours at least three business days prior to the event. More information...
