Tree Planting Event for Earth Week

Join the Office of Sustainability in increasing tree canopy on the Virginia Tech campus on April 24, 2019 - Arbor Day! All members of the campus community are invited to attend.
Virginia Tech has been a Tree Campus USA since the programs inception in 2008! Help us continue to increase tree canopy on campus! We will plant a combination of native canopy and under-story trees near The Grove. Twelve (12) native trees will be planted; Oaks (6), Blackgums (2), Hackberry (2) Dogwood (1), Redbud (1). These are restoration plantings for trees that have been lost in recent years.
