Protect your Horses from Toxic Plants
(Seminar/Conference)

Take a stroll through your pasture and there is a good chance that you will see at least a few plants that are toxic to horses. Of course, that is if you know what you are looking for. Tim Mize, Extension Agent, who specializes in livestock, will discuss plants that could be cause for concern to horse owners. Learn what vines, trees, weeds and wildflowers are toxic at a nibble or from repeated browsing over time and learn how to safely eradicate them from your fields.
