(Special Event)
"The blockchain is an incorruptible digital leader of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions, but virtually everything of value."
--Don & Alex Tapscott, authors of Blockchain Revolution
Flewid Capital is a local business building an accessible economical and efficient way for people to access and use their money regardless of geographical location.
Join Flewid's CEO and Founder Elizabeth Jose, to learn how they are using blockchain in a space where it is not required to make the system function. Elizabeth will speak about why they made the choice to use it, how Flewid makes blockchain palatable for the average person and what will happen if blockchain becomes a thing of the past or isn't embraced.
This event is free, but seating is limited. Register at www.vtrc.vt.edu/Snacks by May 20. Free parking to the first 20 registrants.
