A suite of instant ridematching tools are among the features of a new mobile statewide commuter ridematching app launched by RIDE Solutions and the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT).

Virginia Tech commuters can connect to more carpool, vanpool, transit, and bike commuting opportunities across Virginia than ever before thanks to the new app, which is part of the Commute!VA statewide network. The new app will also feature a unique rewards system for those choosing alternative transportation methods.

Come learn about the RIDE Solutions app on June 18. Hokie Wellness will be hosting a workshop on June 18 from noon to 1 p.m. (North End Center 2410) where commuters can learn more about using the app. RIDE Solutions staff will also be on hand to answer your other commuting questions.
