  Craft Talk Visiting Writer Series: Brian Blanchfield  
(Special Event)

Brian Blanchfield will be doing a Craft Talk entitled "Study, Story, and the Fraught Subject in Nonfiction Now," in Shanks Hall 370/380 at 3:30 p.m.
Brian's Craft Talk will focus on which will entail a mini-studio and highly participatory presentation around a few nonfiction exercises. The talk will spotlight a few features of recent genre-expanding life writing and intellection (e.g., Alison Bechdel, Anne Boyer, Dionne Brand, Kate Briggs, Annie Ernaux, Valeria Luiselli, Maggie Nelson, Wendy S. Walters, Shawn Wen, Kate Zambreno) and sample a few inroads to writing essays that matter.
Later that evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Moss Arts Center, Brian will be reading prose.
