  Tet 1968: New War Stories

Although the 1968 Tet Offensive is one of the most well known events of the Vietnam War, much of the origins of the offensive remain shrouded in mystery. Based on recently-released materials from Vietnam, Tet 1968: New War Stories puts forward a new interpretation of the 1968 communist offensive. Speaker Lien-Hang T. Nguyen is the
Dorothy Borg Associate Professor in the History of the United States and East Asia at Columbia University. She is the author of Hanoi s War: An International History of the War for Peace in Vietnam and the forthcoming comprehensive history of the 1968 Tet Offensive.
