Congressional Oversight 2020 is a free, public seminar organized in conjunction with the Virginia Tech Winter Session course "Washington Experience: US Congressional Oversight inAction," (SPIA 3984/5984), bringing together students of Congress and the presidency and addressing critical questions in congressional oversight in 2020.
Speakers:
Elise J. Bean, Co-Director, Levin Center at Wayne Law's Washington office, will discuss Congressional Investigations. Kevin Kosar, Vice President of Policy, R Street Institute, will discuss Legislative Capacity. Virginia Tech Professor Karen Hult will lead a session on Presidential Impeachment.
