Visiting PSYC 4364: Bilingualism and Development (taught by Dr. Vanessa Diaz (vdiaz@vt.edu)Byers-Heinlein and colleagues used eye-tracking and pupillometry measures to investigate how 20-mo. old English-French bilingual children process their two languages. Their results show that even from this very early age, children are using contextual cues to anticipate which language to expect. To register:
