Eight Songs of Hugo Wolf

Join us for a mini-performance featuring the music of Austrian composer Hugo Wolf (1860-1903).
For half an hour, soprano Ariana Wyatt and pianist Richard Masters will explore the colorful, dramatic, and poignant music of Wolf, a composer who revolutionized the art song. Each individual lied (the German word for 'song') is a little world unto itself, bringing the listener into intimate contact with a wide cast of characters.
