US State Dept's Diplomacy Lab Demo Day

Join us online for the State Department's second "Diplomacy Lab Demo Day" This Friday at Noon. Alongside teams from University of Arizona and Kennesaw State, one of Virginia Tech's undergraduate research teams will be presenting their research; "How to Neutralize China's Debt-Trap Client State Strategy" for the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations. For thirteen semesters, multidisciplinary teams of students have engaged in experiential learning through the Department of Political Science and the International Studies Program's "Topics in Diplomacy Lab" research course, working on over 60 projects for various State Department bureaus, with many students then going on to work in the intelligence community and other Federal fields.
