Developing Institutional Research Ethics at Virginia Tech
(Special Event)
This talk introduces the audience to the field of research ethics, explores a philosophical question as to whether or not it is appropriate to speak of expertise in ethics, and lastly introduces the division of Scholarly Integrity and Research Compliance at Virginia Tech through an overview of its history, structure, and offerings.
Presented by Charles DeSouza, Science Policy Postdoctoral Associate in the Division of Scholarly Integrity and Research Compliance.
Investigator Series webinars are free and open to all students (undergraduate, graduate, professional), faculty and staff. All presentations also provide in-person Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training credit hours towards the NIH's 8-hour in-person RCR training requirement.
