Tommye Blount Reading

As part of Virginia Tech's Visiting Writers Series, writer and poet Tommye Blount will be visiting campus on March 23, 2022. He'll be reading from his recent collection, Fantasia for the Man in Blue, which was a finalist for the National Book Award.
Here's what the National Book Foundation had to say about the collection: "Blount's vision is circumspect, clarified by empathy, and his poems simultaneously evoke and illustrate astonishment and understanding, outrage and compassion."
