The indoor concert series begins with a concert by Richmond-based pianist Alex Hassan.

Hassan's concerts cover a wide range of styles, featuring "Hassanizations" of music from operetta and Tin Pan Alley to the great film scores of the 1930s and 1940s. The program includes songs of Gershwin, excerpts from films of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, and a massive medley of unpublished songs by Harry Warren. Please join us for this night of zany syncopated tunes.

Thursday Night Indoor Concerts are presented by Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg as part of the 2022 Summer Arts Festival.
