Summer Arts Festival presents 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder
(Arts)
"Our Town" won a Pulitzer Prize in 1938 for its intricate and at times heartbreaking exploration of human relationships.
At the center of the drama are George and Emily, two youngsters who live next door to one another in the fictional town of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. George and Emily's friendship eventually grows into something more; using their connection as an outwards-expanding prism, Wilder introduces us to other citizens of Grover's Corners, and with this cast of characters, examines life in all its complexity. Please join us for this American classic. Directed by Amanda Nelson.
Advance registration is recommended to reserve your seat.
"Our Town" is presented by Virginia Tech and the Town of Blacksburg as part of the 2022 Summer Arts Festival. More information...
