CANCELED Carrie Fountain Generative Workshop

Carrie Fountain's first collection, Burn Lake, was a National Poetry Series winner. Her second collection, Instant Winner, was published by Penguin Random House in 2014. Her newest poetry collection, The Life, was published in May 2021 by Penguin. Fountain lives with her family in Austin and gives readings and teaches writing workshops across the country. In 2019, she was named Poet Laureate of he state of Texas.
Generative Workshop: Carrie Fountain will help attendees create original works of creative writing by leading a generative workshop.
Reading: 8:00-9:00 p.m. at the Performance Space at the CID Residence Hall (185 Kent Street). Carrie Fountain will read her poetry and take questions from the audience.
