Sustainable Developments Goals Lab Activate Session
(Special Event)
Wondering what you can do to become a better advocate for sustainable development? The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". SDGs LAB empowers youth to become sustainability leaders through virtual educational sessions that will connect, educate, and empower participants to become catalysts for change in their communities.
Take part in this free program that over 10,000 students have joined to launch youth awareness and action towards building a more sustainable future. Through a speaker series, seminar, and interactive workshop, participants will have the opportunity to reflect and build on their understanding of sustainable development. This program is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, in partnership with Foundation For Environmental Stewardship. Upon successful completion of the SDG's LAB, students will receive a certificate of completion.
There are three components to this program: Launch Session (available starting 2/20), Activate Session (Available starting 2/21), and Boost Session (2/24 at 2:00 pm). All are mandatory for students to receive their certificate but only the Boost Session is live (in a virtual format) while the other two are virtual program that can be completed at your own pace once they are launched (but before the Boost Session).
