6:00pm 		  Kalimaat (Words)/Arabic Poetry Night: An English-Arabic Poetry Reading  
(Special Event)

Please join us for a beautiful evening of poetry from all over the Arab world! Students will be reciting a variety of poems that explore topics including love, war, hope, language and immigration. Attendees will learn about the history, culture, and politics of the Middle East. Poems will be recited in English & Arabic, so all are welcome! Light refreshments will follow. This event is supported by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures (the Arabic Program), the Reema Samaha Arabic Fund, and the Arabic Language Club.
